Bio of Henry Wolmarans
After graduating from University of Natal with a business degree Dr Henry Wolmarans became a commercial diplomat for South Africa stationed in London to do international trade with Europe. When he returned home he attended bible school and in 1980 founded Word of Faith Church in Welkom.
In 1990 he handed the church over to his assistant pastors and elders and immigrated to the United States with his family to start a new church and Bible College in San Diego, California. In 1996 he received a D.Min from the School of Bible Theology in San Jacinto, California. By 1998 there were 27 churches and 15 bible colleges with over 12,000 students that had started from his ministry worldwide.
In 2001 he graduated with a PhD from Life Christian University in Tampa, Florida. He has authored six books and in 2004 "Your Rights to Riches" won first place as the best personal self help book on finances in both Christian and secular fields by the Bay Area Independent Publishers Association (He won the "BAIPA Award"). It is currently on the Top Ten Bestselling list for STL Distributors and in 2007 it was ranked #64 in the top best selling Christian Books in America by Christian Retailing Magazine. In 2007 he published his newest book "Yes, You Can ... Achieve Your Dreams".
Dr Wolmarans is a highly sought after international speaker and has traveled to more than 100 countries. He has been fortunate to receive personal endorsements from Dr Oral Roberts, Dr Pat Robinson, Dr Robert Schuller, T.L Osborne, Peter Daniels and many other high profile ministries.
In April 1999 his wife Jackie suffered a devastating stroke that destroyed the left hemisphere of her brain leaving her blind, mute and paralyzed on her right side. She was confined to a wheelchair.
Jackie has recovered wonderfully so that she now walks with the aid of a cane, her sight has been restored to 82% of normal and her speech has returned to 75% of normal.
Dr. Henry currently resides in San Diego, California with his wife Jackie where he mentors business people as a Life Coach.
